Discipleship
Discipleship is the Christ follower journey to grow closer to Jesus and to personally reflect more of Jesus. Discipleship is best accomplished with other people through Sunday School, small groups (see schedule below) and individually through RightNow Media (a “Netflix” for Bible Studies free for members). Sunday School is the best place to make new friends and grow in your faith. If you have questions, then you can bring them to the Sunday School group. If you are looking for some other friends that are chasing the love of Jesus then this is the place for you.
Gather groups
Gather groups are small home group bible studies and fellowship groups. SBC has a rich history of Bible study and discipleship. Our two main avenues of Bible Study are found in Sunday School and Wednesday Night Bible Studies. We realize that those times are not conducive for creating deeper fellowship. Gather groups gives you the opportunity to fellowship with other believers outside of the church building while studying the word together. Gather groups have become one of the firendliest places in our church’s ministry to invite the unchurched and nonChristian to a church friendly environment. Although members of SBC are the hosts and group leaders, everyone is welcome to attend and connect with a Gather Group.
